With the addition of Rutgers and Maryland to the Big Ten, unbalanced schedules have become a part of life.
With 18 league games on the schedule, some teams play others twice, but others just once. That's just the way it is in a 14-team league.
On Thursday, the Big Ten announced the conference schedules for each team for the 2015-16 men's basketball season. Ohio State will face Maryland, Illinois, Michigan State, Northwestern and Rutgers both home and away next year.
The Buckeyes will face each other team in the Big Ten once. Road games come at Indiana, Purdue, Nebraska and Wisconsin. Home games will feature Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota and Penn State.
Times and dates for these games are yet to be determined.
