Aaron Craft was named Big Ten Player of the Week earlier today, and now his former teammate, Jared Sullinger, has been named NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week as well.

The former OSU big fellah averaged 20/12 over the three-game stretch, including a career high 31 points and 16 rebounds in a win over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday.

From ESPN:

Feb. 5 @ Philadelphia: Collected 19 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and four blocks in a 114-108 win over the 76ers.

Feb. 7 vs. Sacramento: Tallied 31 points and 16 rebounds during a 99-89 win over the Kings.

Feb. 9 vs. Dallas: Notched his third double-double of the week (and fifth consecutive) with 11 points and 12 rebounds in a 102-91 loss to the Mavericks.

Remember when NBA GMs didn't think Sullinger had a position in the NBA? Those were funny times. Man, if only the Basetbucks had Sully for March's run.
