Halftime of the Big Ten opener for Ohio State featured a throwback show from The Best Damn Band in the Land honoring the musical Grease and its 50 years of production in stages across the country. In less than 10 minutes, TBDBITL put on a performance worthy of Grease Lightning by playing all the most recognizable classics from the hit musical that debuted in 1971.
TBDBITL's setlist included "Summer Nights," "Hopelessly Devoted to You," "We Go Together," and several other hits from the show complete with choreography to match the lyrics. Grease Lighting itself even did a victory lap around the field during the band's finale.
This was the band's third performance under the lights already this season, with the previous two including a Jazz Café show with drone choreography against Notre Dame and a walk through Ohio Stadium history last week versus Toledo.
