President Donald Trump issued a wave of nominations Friday for the Council on Sports, Nutrition and Fitness. The organization was founded in 1960 and encourages Americans to live a healthy lifestyle that balances physical activity and good nutrition.

Former New York Yankees closers Mariano Rivera, former NFL running back Herschel Walker, and three-time beach volleyball gold medalist Misty May-Treanor will co-chair the council.

Olympic gold medalist and former Ohio State heavyweight wrestler Kyle Snyder will be on the committee.

Other members include Patriots coach Bill Belichick, Dr. Oz, and Linda Yaccarino. If approved, all members will serve a two-year term.
