You may find that work, school, or other obligations keep you from focusing on Twitter the way you should. Thankfully for you, I'm able to tune out those distractions and provide you with a weekly rundown of the best tweets from around campus.

Twitter delivered again this week with a few wonderfully trollful interactions and a few other gems. With how great Twitter has been, we may be fine just staying in the off-season forever.

*shudders*

Don't worry. That's why he hasn't texted back.

#HotTake: Urban Meyer's photobomb game is stronger than Kerry Coombs's hashtag game.

Joshua Perry is easily the best dressed on the team. Except he wears sweats to class just like everyone else because, class.

Yup, here it is. A kid younger than me has already come to my school, accomplished more than I ever will and left to make millions of dollars before I even graduate leaving me here to compile his tweets into an article. Hooray!

Truth: grits have no flavor, and sweet tea tastes like sweat. I'm great at living in the south, can't you tell?

Cameron johnston comes home

Cue that Skylar Grey song, the teams' greatest asset is coming home.

Eventually.

But it's all worth it when you know you're going to have a warm welcome in Columbus, right?

Kirk Barton vs zach boren

Ahhhh the off-season— where a Twitter war between two former players gets far more attention than it should. Nevertheless, this exchange is pretty fantastic. This may shock you given the two parties involved, but the Twitter-beef was about weight lifting and steroid use. Sigh.

Just to clarify, Zach Boren was clear that he was joking. But who wouldn't want to see these two compete in pretty much anything?

Also, gotta love Kirk Barton for playing no games and jumping right out to $50K. That's some Floyd Mayweather confidence.

This week's winner of twitter

I think for the first time since we've been doing this, the week's winner will be consensus. There should be no debate about this. If you second guess this choice, you are just objectively incorrect.

So, @NFL_CFB tweeted this:

Brutus was not happy about being second on this list, so he voiced his displeasure.

And The Duck responded with this:

And then, ladies and gentlemen, your finishing move:

We're done here. Game over. The Duck's death in this Twitter war was swift, but surely not painless.

There was not even an attempt at a response, defense, or rebuttal from The Duck.(sounds a lot like the Football team amirite?)

Follow Friday

  • Jamarco Jones @jjones_74
  • Tony Gerdeman @GerdOZone -Like Tom Orr from last week, Gerd is one of the first Ohio State "tweeters" I ever followed. Also like Tom, he's spectacular at trolling Michigan fans (so is Ramzy, but that probably isn't news to you). I understand most Buckeye writers are, but Tom, Gerd, and Ramzy just seem to have an extra gear. Maybe it was the Cooper years. I guess I'll never know. I was born in 94'. Anyway, Gerd is also a wonderful writer whom I've learned a lot from reading, so whenever he tweets out a link, do yourself a favor and read it.
  • Aloiya Earl @aloiya51 -Aloiya is the newest member of our team. She's both a doctor and a good writer-of-sports. I am neither of those things. Give her a follow.
