Kyle Snyder was arrested in a prostitution sting by the Columbus, OH PD on Friday. He was one of 16 arrested during the sting operation.

Police posted ads online and used the responses to set up potential arrests. Snyder allegedly contacted the number listed in the ad around 8:15 p.m. on Friday and agreed to meet the escort at a local hotel, where he exchanged money for a requested sexual favor with an undercover officer and was arrested. 

A decorated OSU wrestler (3 time national Champ), and one of the most decorated American wrestlers of all time, Snyder became the youngest American to win Olympic gold in wrestling at the 2016 games. Snyder is also a seven-time medalist at the World Championships of wrestling.
