I thought it might be interesting to take a look at the B1G's top recruits by position. I took a few liberties--three WRs because of the popularity of the spread, an all-purpose back as a slot/hybrid, four DLs and four LBs to cover both 3-4 and 4-3, the top two "athletes" (I put one on each side of the ball not knowing where they might eventually play), plus the top placekicker and punter, neither of whom was ranked nationally.

Michigan had the most with seven, followed closely by Ohio State with six. Nebraska and Purdue each had three, while Illinois, Michigan State, Penn State and Wisconsin each had two. Minnesota barely made it with the kicker. Five B1G teams (Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Northwestern, Rutgers) are not represented.

The B1G East had 17 of the 28 and the West had 11 but four of them were the two athletes and the specialists.

We have some great match-ups to look forward to in The Game: Harry Miller versus Chris Hinton and Mazi Smith, Zach Harrison versus Trente Jones, Garrett Wilson and Jameson Williams versus Daxton Hill, Cade Stover drawing a bead on Zach Charbonnet.
