Nester has been committed to Ohio State since August 2017 – he was the first member of the class of 2019 to pledge to the Buckeyes – but he has been trending away from the Buckeyes since Urban Meyer's retirement in early December, and most recruiting insiders now expect him to sign with the Hokies on Wednesday.
