Well with the Cox decommitment, its time to take any and all DE prospects seriously. Casey Rogers is on campus this weekend.

Here’s his background:
Rogers plans to take official visits to Ohio State and Alabama over the next two weeks while other programs such Arizona State, Boston College, California, Notre Dame, Ole Miss and Penn State have also been in contact over the past few months, so Vanderbilt's offer may just be the tip of the iceberg for the Syracuse, New York native.
A three-sport standout at Westhill High, Rogers earned Class B All-State honors as a senior defensive end for the Warriors in 2016, but he planned to play lacrosse for the Syracuse Orange after committing to the program during his sophomore year and while his father Lelan Rogers was an assistant at the school.
However, Rogers decided that his heart was more into football and after picking up late scholarship offers from West Virginia and Western Michigan, he chose to spend a year at Avon Old Farms School as a post graduate in order to get recruited for a full cycle.
Rogers helped the Beavers go 8-1 this fall while playing both defensive end and tight end. He also earned an invite to both the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl and Blue-Grey All-American Bowl a few months ago.
Thoughts? His film impresses me, and I wasn’t expecting that.
