The Arizona Cardinals select Marvin Harrison Jr. with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
A quick update to yesterday's story regarding Max and Jake Wray.
Stacy Wray, their mother, issued a response on Thursday morning to the comments made by Williamson County Public Schools Director of Communication Carol Birdsong.
"The Wray family has been completely satisfied with how the athletic doctors and medical trainers handled Jake's concussion diagnosis and subsequent concussion protocol," Mrs. Wray said. "Our concern, which the school still seems unwilling to address, is with the coaching staff.
"We want to publicly thank both Vanderbilt [Medical Group] and especially the medical trainer at Franklin High, Alexis Boorde, for their exemplary care and concern for the health and well-being of the athletes at Franklin High."
I've updated the original article accordingly, but the Wrays voiced their concerns that the medical staff and trainers were being thrown under the bus by the whole ordeal.
"They have always been professional and exemplary," Mrs. Wray said. "[Boorde] is one of the biggest assets to our student-athletes at Franklin High School."
The Wrays will be at Ohio State's game on Saturday.
