Volume 2 brings changes to the rankings and 11 new players to the B1G. Two schools combined for seven commits and Jaelen Gill gives Ohio State another 4★ offensive weapon. How much longer can James Franklin hold on to the top spot?

Since 2/10, the B1G added 11 players, with eight of the new additions occurring within the last nine days.
P.J. Fleck and Minnesota brought in the biggest haul with four commits. DT Elijah Teague (.864), gives the Gophers the highest rated DT in the conference.
President's Day was not a day of rest for Paul Chryst and Wisconsin. Three defensive players from the Cheese State pledged allegiance to their home college. SDE Boyd Dietzen (.853) is ranked 22nd at his position and is the highest ranked of the three new Badgers.
Yesterday (2/28), WR Joseph Scates (.940) became the first 2018 B1G commit to become a decommit. The top two schools for the 6'3" Dayton Dunbar junior are Alabama and Ohio State. Will the talented receiver stay in the great state of Ohio, or will he roll down to Alabama?
Today, Ohio State received great news from a local player. Jaelen Gill, of Westerville South, will spend his college Saturday's in historic Ohio Stadium. Gill is currently ranked as the nation's third best all-purpose back and has a rating of .982. The 6'1" speedster turned heads as a freshman in 2015 with his quickness and ability to catch the ball out of the backfield.

Penn State remains the top team in the Big Ten and the nation. However, Ohio State and Michigan continue get new pledges and they should pass Franklin and the Nittany Lions by the start of the 2017 season.
Wisconsin and Minnesota made the biggest noise this cycle by adding seven new players and earning a combined 94.66 composite rating points. It will be interesting to see if Chryst and Fleck can finish in the top 5 of the B1G for the 2018 recruiting season.
Seven teams landed below the conference's average rating of 52.57. Of the seven teams below the average, four do not have a player committed. That number should change when this is updated next month.

Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes widened their lead on the second place Wolverines. Ohio State went up one point to .979 average and Michigan lost 4 points. There is a long way to go, but the Buckeyes 44-point lead looks secure with the projected prospects on the horizon.
Minnesota made the biggest jump this cycle, will Maryland or Rutgers make a move this month?
Ohio State finished with a 35-point lead at the end of 2017. Meyer now has a 44-point lead in '18. How far will he finish ahead of the pack?
