A look back at Ohio State's 2013 recruiting class. The first class that Meyer and Co. had a full year to recruit and evaluate prospects. As Meyer was once quoted, 1/3 end up starters (reach potential), 1/3 end up contributing a little (are just average) and 1/3 never make it.

Let's start with the players that never made it. Players that are no longer on the roster. (3/25, 8%)
1. Mike Mitchell (transferred to Texas Tech to be closer to ailing father)
2. Jayme Thompson (transferred to CC and is a prospect for this class for other schools)
3. Tim Gardner (kicked off the team)

Players that have reached their potential (9/25, 36%)
1. Vonn Bell (Starting Safety)
2. Jalin Marshall (Starting HB)
3. Joey Bosa (Starting DE)
4. Eli Apple (Starting CB)
5. Ezekiel Elliot (Starting RB)
6. J.T. Barrett (Injured, 5th in Heisman voting)
7. Billy Price (Starting OG)
8. Darron Lee (Starting LB)
9. Dontre Wilson (Injured HB)

Won't comment on the average yet but there are some backups and special teams players that might seem time down the road.
