I knew as soon as the 2019 Clemson game was over I would never get over that game.  And in the past month I have been feeling similar feelings about Caleb Downs that aren't going away.  It's a feeling of sadness, of a missed opportunity to fully capitalize on a one-time-only situation.

We have had All Americans at every position on the field.  So it's not a matter of just talent.  It's a matter of football IQ.  He, like no one I have ever seen for OSU, was like a quarterback of the defense.  It was like having a coach on the field that could do all the things a coach would tell a player to do but in real time.  A leader who almost never made mistakes.  He represented himself, the team, and the university well in interviews.  Class on and off the field.  We will never have another Caleb Downs.
