I know its been beaten to death. I'm beyond aggravated. As always, its how you lose. 2019-2022, with Fields and Stroud, we were putting up 500+ yards. Just absolute pedal to the metal. Now sans 2019, the other teams had crap defenses. So outscoring was the best way to win. We now have an elite defense again.

I always believe in the motto - maximize your strengths, minimize your defects. Works for sports or just life in general. Sports wise - just countless examples. The movie We are Marshall.. where they figure out if you have a shortage of talent, the way to best beat it is to spread the opponent out and create one on ones. Now the thing is.. we are the ones with the advantage - everywhere.

So my question obviously is.. why are we minimizing our advantage? We are playing exactly into every opponents hands. We are literally getting 4 possessions per half. Pretty sure Oregon had as many possessions in the first half against TTU than we had all game. I know every coach wants to be the smartest guy ever, reinvent the wheel of football.. but this is not it. Hell when we cut it to 14-7, half the third quarter was over. More possessions is a GOOD thing. The talent disparity will come into play. Why are we making it a coin flip game on purpose?

also coach has absolutely got to trust his guys. Get Kienholz in there, Sayin struggled so badly. How did Linc not get a single freakin snap?? (best of luck btw - kid is 10x the player Brown/McCord were). We have 15 5 or 4 star receivers. I don't mean this how its gonna sound but does Mylan Graham have some sort of.. learning disability? Like he literally doesn't know where to stand on the field or doesn't know what a slant route is? (also - love him but Inniss is not it). Best of luck to Resse - sincerely he needs another year of development. Hopefully whoever drafts him realizes this.
