Related to the other thread about emotional leaders on offense. The ESPN cast showed Michael Irvin and Ray Lewis, obviously two highly prominent former Miami players, being highly interactive on the sidelines with the Hurricanes. I have no doubt their presence brought some confidence and inspiration to their team at the right moments.
Would it have benefited the team if some additional ex-Buckeye players to be present on the sideline tonight? Sorry, Brian Hartline with his mind on his Tampa relocation doesn't count. It would have been fitting to see Maurice Clarett hanging around out there given the match-up.
