We all already know how historical that run of 2024 was that the Buckeyes made last year...
First team to ever navigate the 12 team playoff and come out the other side having won it all...
First team to ever win the Rose Bowl and Cotton Bowl in a single season...
Now think about this...
The Buckeyes could be the first and only team to ever repeat as National Champions in the 12 team format (yes that's out of 2 years, but still, the history that creates is about as bullet proof as it gets).
They could be the first team to win the Cotton Bowl in back to back seasons while also winning a second traditional "NY6" bowl in the same year...
To have 2 Cotton Bowl wins, a Rose Bowl win, and a possible Fiesta Bowl win within 2 seasons is something I don't know if any of us ever believed would be possible.
This team could create some of the most previously unfathomable history in all of sports, that's pretty amazing.
What else am I missing here? I'm sure there are other details that could make this one of those teams that fills up the history books.
