As Ohio State prepares to defend its national title and embark on another postseason run,  while Michigan is dealing with yet another scandal, take a moment to appreciate how great its to be a Buckeye.  Since Tressel took OSU to the natty in 2002,  there have been only 3 times since then that OSU hasnt played in a BCS/New Year 6/national title or CFP game.    (2004 , 2011 -Fickell transition year, 2012 bowl ban year even though OSU went 12-0) .    Barring those 2 years, last time OSU lost more than 2 games was 2008.   Under Meyer and now Day, OSU has not lost more than 2 games a season.   Bama might have more titles, but this kind of consistency and success this century is unmatched by any other program.

• 2002 - Fiesta bowl (NC). - Miami  (W)   Buckeyes Hurricanes 20T instant classic.
• 2003 - Fiesta bowl -  Kansas State (W).  defending champs lost to michigan but finished 11-2.
• 2005  - Fiesta bowl - Notre Dame (W) - Ted Ginn, Troy smith, 500+ yards of offense vs Charlie Weiss schematic advantage.
• 2006 - Fiesta bowl (NC) -   Florida (L) - Debacle in the desert. (did not see this coming).
• 2007 - Sugar bowl  (NC) -  LSU (L)   meh (simply overmatched by LSU in second half)
• 2008 - Fiesta bowl -  Texas (L)   (pretty entertaining game despite the close loss)
• 2009 - Rose bowl -   Oregon (W) -  Pryor plays great & OSU D  shuts down Chip kelly's Ducks.
• 2010 - Sugar bowl -  Arkansas (W) - Pryor and the offense put on another great performance. 
• 2013 - Orange bowl - Clemson (L) -  Braxton miller injured.  
• 2014 - CFP semis and final.  Sugar,  Cotton.  Bama  (W),  Oregon (W).    Zeke!! 
• 2015 - Fiesta bowl -   Notre Dame (W) -  beatdown.  but Joey Bosa targeting call early in the game,
• 2016 - CFP semis - Fiesta.    Clemson (L). ... yuck. 
• 2017 - Cotton bowl -   USC (W) .  Defense shuts down USC offense. 
• 2018 - Rose bowl -   Washington. (W) .  Haskins (RIP)
• 2019 - CFP Semis  - Fiesta.  Clemson again (L). ...   FU clemson and the refs. 
• 2020 - CFP - semis and final. Sugar,  Orange.   Clemson (W), Bama (L) . Revenge on clemson.
• 2021 - Rose bowl -   Utah (W) .  Record breaking passing game by Stroud.
• 2022 - CFP Semis   Peach bowl-   Georgia (L). Hearbreaking loss as clock strikes midnight NYE
• 2023 - Cotton bowl - Missouri (L).  season was over after TTUN game.  McCord leaving.
• 2024 - CFP  - Home, Rose bowl, Cotton bowl, Atlanta NC  - Tennessee (W), Oregon(W), Texas (W), ND (W). 
• 2025 - CFP-   Cotton bowl quarterfinals -  TBD...
