Before the rubber meets the road this year, I want to hear from everyone. I honestly feel blessed that my dad grew up in Columbus and passed this fanhood/maybe mental illness on to me!! Win or lose, it's been a hell of a ride supporting this team. Having said that...What's your favorite/ most memorable OSU football moments? I have always had the barrier of not living in Ohio, so my top three are as follows...
1. Watching the 2002 National Championship game when I was a senior in HS with my dad and us absolutely losing our minds when they won. Never seen a better call than the one on Miami!
2. Watching the final playoff seeding show on Sunday after the conference championship against Wisconsin in 2015 championship. Truly did not know if their absolute destruction of the badgers would be enough to jump into the 4 spot. When they revealed it, I grabbed my daughter (then 5 years old, now 15) and swung her around in the air. In the process, I knocked over a wooden snowman decoration that was on the new entertainment center and it fell and took a chunk of wood out of the side table when it hit. Worth it!
3. Blessed to watch the 2024 semifinal game on TV with my dad and my brother. When Jack Sawyer scooped and scored, I got so excited I had to take my hoodie and shirt off and jump around the room. It just felt right in the moment.
