All,

This is the end of the regular season.  We know what it means.  The game is unusual, as it's only a playoff elimination for one team.  OSU's a playoff lock.  There's other games. I won't ramble, here we go.

As always I checked ESPN's scoreboard and noted the 'Tickets as low as' value.  And, this doesn't take into account fees and other expenses ticket sites tack on.

Tickets As Low As: Week 14
Home Away As Low As Notes
Illinois Northwestern $6 #Bert
_SU _aryland $19
Rutgers PSU $62
Purdue Indiana $64 Friday #Slaughter
_innesota Wisconsin $69 Oldest FSB Rivalry in CFB
Washington Oregon $74 Washington, help our SOS
USC UCLA $109 the classic B1G SoCal showdown
TCUN OSU $296 The Game
  • Six Bucks for disappointments (1 game)
    • Illinois came into the season a playoff sleeper - kept their 2024 team intact - lost every B1G showdown
  • $19 for the worst Non-Purdue teams
    • Well, MSU is winless in conference, and Maryland has won once (right after Wisconsin lost their QB)
    • This is a 'non rivalrly' rivalrly game in rivalry week.  Every other rivalry makes sense.
  • Getting Up There in Price $64-$74 (3 games)
    • Purdue prices are high because Indiana fans want to see the perfect seasons.  Purdue has a none-percent chance of winning.
    • Washington misses playoffs, have a chance to knock out Oregon (maybe)
  • B1G Ticket Items (>$100) - 2 games
    • UCLA 'travels' to USC - good ol' fashioned SoCal Regular Season B1G Ball.
    • The games, the story lines are a'plenty
      • WR Health
      • NCAA wristslap
      • Day hasn't won in a while (yet 21,22,23 SHOULD have asterisks)
      • TCUN playoff push
      • The Weather
      • B1G CG Game tiebreakers (IF...)
      • Expanded Playoffs lessening importance
      • did I mention WR Health?  That's a biggee
