I can't be the only person who is floored with excitement over the fact that we locked up a playoff spot today. We were likely in with two losses, but our 11th win all but guarantees that we have claim to one of the twelve spots.

It is so challenging and special to make the playoff. Many proud programs like USC, Florida, and Miami have never been. TTUN was only able to make the playoff by brazenly cheating. Penn State and Clemson had playoff-or-bust rosters this season and failed to muster even moderately competitive runs to the playoff. Many of our best teams weren't afforded the opportunity to compete for a championship at the end of the season (1998, 2005, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2023, etc).

I hate TTUN with every fiber of my being. I am going to be consumed by the game this week. But, at the same time, I'm completely stoked that we're one of twelve teams in this year's playoff. That's a special opportunity and accomplishment.
