Former Ohio State star receiver Parris Campbell has had a rough go of it since leaving Columbus and heading to the NFL. While consistent play marked his career in Scarlet and Gray, Campbell has been unable to stay healthy in the pros and he just suffered yet another setback.
Parris' best year statistically came in 2018 when he led the Big Ten in receptions (90) and had the 2nd-most receiving yards in the conference. He played a key role in Dwayne Haskins' record-setting season that year, alongside an outstanding cast of WRs including: Terry McLaurin, K.J. Hill, Johnnie Dixon, Binjimen Victor, and Austin Mack.
After playing with the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles in 2024, Campbell headed to Dallas, where he signed a one-year contract with the Cowboys worth $1.3 million, including a $167,500 signing bonus in March. Unfortunately for the former Buckeye, it looks like another year is lost to injury. After nursing a knee injury, Dallas decided to place the veteran wide receiver on the season-ending injured reserve list.
Campbell was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in 2019. He would have his most productive year as a pro in 2022, where he caught 63 passes for 623 yards and three touchdowns. Ironically, an ironman for Ohio State, Campbell has been unable to avoid the injury bug in the NFL.

Hoping Parris a quick and speedy recovery from all of Buckeye Nation.
