Day said he wants to keep Hayden's red shirt this year, but I'm still not sure how exactly this makes sense. He can obviously contribute and has an ability to turn not a lot into a five or six yard gain that this offense could definitely use.

With Mayan out now for the year, it would make sense to get Hayden even more involved in the game plan. Is Day saving him for big games ahead, like, say, the game on November 25? Do you think he will get any carries against Rutgers?
