Hats off to Trey Henderson. Fantastic game by him. I have been openly critical of him being the guy for the past year and a half or so. It's okay to be critical of a player when you think they are not performing better than others. But only if we are willing to give praise when it's due to the same player. Praise is due for Trey and I'm happy for him. 

I'm also happy to see a RB get 24 (!!!) carries. Its been so long since (Dobbins) we've seen that kind of commitment to the run game. There have been outlier games over the past couple years (Trey Sermon), but I'm hoping this one isn't. With McCord somewhat struggling, it makes sense that we ran the ball more. But stick with it! Part of my criticism of Day for the last couple of years is that we rotate RB's like crazy. Even when Miyan and Trey were both healthy, one would get a series, and then the other would get one. I'm just not a fan of that system and think that it breeds inconsistency. One guy doesn't get enough carries to have those explosive runs like Trey had on Saturday. There's no rhythm in the game to me, it feels disjointed. I think we have several players talented enough on this team to be a bell cow, but you have to have the carries to do it. Pick a guy and stick with him. If it's Trey, great! Run him 20 times a game!
