With the rumblings about possible consequences to UM sooner rather than later, I got to wondering about a corner case of the tie breaker.   OSU beat PSU.   What if PSU beats UM and UM beats OSU, but is ineligible for the championship game?   In a three way tie they go the the records vs B10 West.  In a two way tie they go to the head to head.   Right now PSU wins the former but loses the latter to OSU.

Does anyone know if the existing rules cover which scenario would happen?
