Many posters here use inexperience as an excuse for an overall disappointing 2021 season, yet we had 10 or so captains. It almost appears as if the staff was attempting to motivate these players to lead rather than focusing on the few that were truly capable. My question: Is more or less better? Should it vary year to year on that's team makeup? What does it take for a player to earn that status? I just feel that that honor has become so watered down that it has become meaningless.
