Ohio State has 15 new players on its roster for the spring semester, including its 14 early enrollees and also including one graduate transfer.
Corey Rau, who previously played at SMU, has joined the Buckeyes as a walk-on, Ohio State announced Thursday.
In four years at SMU, Rau played in just six games and did not record any catches. That said, he was a three-star recruit out of Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, Texas, and had several offers from Power 5 schools including Minnesota and Washington.
Rau is pursuing a master's degree in sports coaching at Ohio State after graduating from SMU, where he made the American Athletic Conference's all-academic team, with a degree in sports management.
