We always hear that players are only focusing on the season and not talking about declaring for the NFL until after the year. This year, the championship game is not until Jan. 13.
The fact that the deadline for declaring for the NFL is soon after that. Could that be a factor in certain LSU & Clemson players not having as much time to do their research on leaving or staying? I would think if a deadline to declare is looming, a player (unless he is really sure what he wants to do), might just lean on coming back to school since that is the known choice and just easier to do?
