Most of you know the story better than I do, but local kid Jackson Carman spurned OSU for Clemson, so OSU went out and replaced the #2 OT in the class with the #1 OT in the class, Nicholas Petit-Frere. The narrative at the time was, "If you don't want to be a Buckeye, no big deal, we'll just go get someone better."
Two years later, how do we feel about that? Carman is starting at LT for a really good team, while NPF didn't force his way into a consistent starting role.
There's no denying that Carman has accomplished more so far. But will NPF leapfrog him next year?
