Well, that is certainly one measure of consistency of excellence.  With only two losing seasons from 1969 to the present, Ohio State stands alone among all of the major college football programs.

And an SEC team didn’t even finish in second place.  That honor goes to Oklahoma with just three losing seasons during that time period.  (Amazingly, those three were in consecutive years.)

In any case, that’s a pretty spectacular run by the Buckeyes.
