Field Goal Kicking.
Via Fansided writer Shawn Spencer.
"Clemson football fans are familiar with the inconsistency that B.T. Potter has had during this season. Potter has connected on 12-of-19 field goal attempts (63.2 percent), but just hasn’t had the consistency that he is capable of having. Potter is just 3-of-6 from 30-39 yards and 3-of-6 from 40-49 yards. He also missed a kick from less than 29 yards this season.
Interestingly enough, Potter is 2-for-2 on attempts of 50 yards or more.
OSU, on the other hand, has a solidly reliable option at kicker in Blake Haubeil. Haubeil is 10-of-12 (83.3 percent) on attempts and has a long of 55 yards. He missed two from the 30-39 range, but has been perfect on kicks of 20-29 yards (4-of-4) and as well as kicks of 40 yards or more (4-of-4).
Though Haubeil isn’t the nation’s best kicker, he has been a consistent option for the Buckeyes and he just hasn’t had as many mental lapses as it seems Potter has had during this season.
If this game comes down to a field goal, Ohio State has an advantage and Tiger fans certainly won’t be comfortable. Clemson will need to take advantage of its other areas and perform at a high level to keep that from happening."
*We just need to keep scoring, and if necessary get a few turnovers. Plus very, very few penalties. Should a FG get the W, so be it.
