If you follow this website at all, you already know by now that Ohio State will name its starting quarterback on Monday.
Ohio State confirmed Sunday that Ryan Day will also announce the Buckeyes' team captains on Monday.
Day suggested earlier this month that the Buckeyes could have anywhere from two to five captains depending on how the team's vote plays out; ideally, he said, he would like Ohio State to have at least two captains on offense and two captains on defense, with a mix of linemen and skill-position players.
Senior safety Jordan Fuller and redshirt junior linebacker Tuf Borland are the surest bets to be captains, as both were already captains for the Buckeyes last year, which could leave just two or three spots for Ohio State's other veteran leaders to fill.
Day's press conference is scheduled for approximately 11:15 a.m. Monday morning, and both the new starting quarterback and team captains are scheduled to meet with the media after. Eleven Warriors will be on the scene as always to provide coverage, so be sure to check back tomorrow.
