Despite undergoing surgery this summer, Tyreke Smith will not miss any time in preseason camp.
The Ohio State defensive end tweeted Wednesday that he has been "cleared to play." He previously tweeted on June 13 that he was undergoing surgery for an undisclosed injury.

Ohio State head coach Ryan Day, who has said that he will not discuss the specifics of player injuries, did not specify why Smith underwent surgery when asked about it in June, but did say that he expected Smith to "be fine."
Smith is expected to play a key role in Ohio State's defensive end rotation this season along with starters Chase Young and Jonathon Cooper.
