I've thought this for a long time.. but watching the Super Bowl just confirmed this to me... Tress would have made a tremendous NFL coach... I'm not saying he would be as successful as Belichick but he would be on that trajectory.  Combine his coaching wizardy which IMO works so well within the NFL framework with his ability to develop relationships with players... he would have been such a great NFL coach... All he would need is the right GM... He came close with the Colts... and I would have loved to see what he would have done...  Essentially Tressel-Ball is NFL playoff football... his teams would not be the most glamorous but at the end of the season they would be a problem for others...
