We all know there are really only 12-16 programs that can make a title run. The rest are just there as, per say, fillers. The NCAA needs to look at North, South, East, and West conferences. Each conference would have two 8 team divisions. The champion of each division would play for a conference title and the conference champions would play for a National title.
Currently, the B1G, ACC and the SEC have 14 teams. The Big 12 has 10 and the PAC12 has 12. Move all 10 Big 12 teams to other conferences. That would give all conference 16 teams. Or even expand it to 10 teams per division.
If Notre Dame want in they FINALLY have to join a conference.
This would eliminate all BCS and committee shenanigans.
