Unless you've been living in a cave since before the Purdue game, you know that this year's Ohio State football team could use some reinforcements.

That got me to thinking: Of all the great players in Ohio State history, which player could help this team most?

With the team's lingering issues on both sides of the ball, particularly in the running game and on defense, there are plenty of areas on the roster in which the Buckeyes could greatly benefit from being able to bring back a former star in their prime.

But if you could only choose one, who would you pick? A dominant offensive lineman in Orlando Pace or John Hicks? An elite linebacker in James Laurinaitis or Chris Spielman? A star safety in Mike Doss or Jack Tatum to shore up the back end?
