I've been following recruiting for years now and of course I focus mainly on OSU recruiting. The topic of this forum is NOT solely a discussion about OSU commits, decommits, former or current players but on recruiting as a whole. I'm curious to see how many may share my view on young men choosing to play for a lesser program with the easier path to playing time vs grinding every day against some of the most talented players in the country. Is there a line between competitor vs. coward? Is it more meaningful to start as a third junior at Ohio State or a true freshman at say Ohio University. Would you rather be a 2 year starter and have the possibility of playing for a national championship or would you rather be assured of being a four starter at a lesser program? What say you?
