Werner has been really good in coverage. He's played the bullet position ahead of Brendon White this season. I had to eat a bucket of crow because last year I was NOT a Pete Werner supporter. Werner is night and Day better this year under these new coaches.
To answer your question, I've watched every OSU games and most multiple times
Watch Hamilton and BB get a sack or two a piece. I'm hoping Zack Harrison and Tyreke Smith have big games
That's right!!! I totally forgot about Browning coming back from injury. Thanks for the info. Total brain fart
Tuff Borland or maybe even Malik Harrison will be a spy in those situations.
I love your optimism
It's usually a close game no matter the records or where it's played. I think the spread is too high as well but seriously, who cares about the spread, just win baby!!!
OSU wasnt motivated at all yesterday and who could blame them.
I do agree. Every one involved in that horrible mess is gone. Franklin makes them laughable on his own
We need to put a tall and fast defender on their TE. I don't know if Harrison can keep up with him all game. Maybe a Brendon White or even Pete Werner. The Silver Bullet position may be in play all game long
That 8' tall TE will be a patch of hell. He's most of their offense. I'm sure Hafley will have a game plan to eliminate him. Hopefully a lot of D line pressure forces PSU into max protect fronts and Friermuth spends his time trying to block the Predator instead of running routes.
Harsh DV, +1 to even it out... Damn folks
I truly believe we win this game but IDK if we will cover this week. If I had money on this game then i would take Penn State with the points. My heart says Ohio State by 35 points. I hope Chase Young comes into this game playing like his dreds are on fire and stomps a mud hole into Mr. Clifford. "Don't take this @$$ whippin personal" (2 UVs if you know the movie quote)
He hasn't played a down of high school football in his senior year but OSU is working with him and.helping stay in shape and develop the best that they can without violating any recruiting rules. I think this will go a long long way in building a super strong relationship with the coaching staff going forward. With the WR haul that OSU is bringing in next year, it would have been easy for Mookie Cooper to say no thanks and move on to a school with a better chance of PT. OSU showing him the love and loyalty has paid dividends in keeping this stud recruit in the OSU fold. I rout for every Buckeye but I'll rout a tad harder for Mookie considering his current circumstances.
Shame on Missouri!!!
It's BS that a kid is even scrutinized by transferring public high schools. If high schools develop players better than so be it. If certain high schools have better academics that so be it. Their parents pay state taxes and what school they attend should NOT involve any state agency whatsoever
We've had some damn good 3* and lower LBs over our recent history. The highly rated ones, in general, under achieve.
There are certainly more to name but these low rated guys become studs at OSU, no worries here with me.
What Missouri HS football did to Cooper, that's a load of $hit. That's seriously screwing with a young athlete's future and could really hinder the start of his college career. I know the Buckeyes staff wont let happen and Mookie will be just fine but damn that's a harsh thing to do to a young man.
Jameson Williams will have a final stretch run similar to Chris Olave's 2018 end of season performances. Olave, Wilson and Williams will be excellent next year and maybe the best in college football.
If style points didn't matter then we'd be better off starting Chugs instead of Fields but anyway. Chugs will look like an All American on Saturday regardless but so could any other QB. My biggest worry about Rutgers is NO NO NO injuries
Island Bum: And there was a manure spreader Jack knifed on the Santa Anna, whewy
NPF did struggle early on. He was beaten at least twice badly. It was invaluable experience though and once he settled down he really got.into the game. We will definitely need him come next season. Go Bucks!!!
He made a wise decision. He isn't ready for the NBA yet and polishing his craft for another year may be a very wise choice. I'm anxious to see him at 255 or lighter. It should definitely help with his hops
No sir, you are just fine my friend
