While Cardale Jones was released by the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, he won't be leaving the city of angels just yet.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Jones is joining the Chargers' practice squad after clearing waivers on Monday.

Jones is one of several former Ohio State players who were released by their NFL teams this weekend and subsequently brought back to those teams' practice squads, also including J.T. Barrett (Saints), Chris Worley (Bengals), Damon Webb (Titans) and Tyvis Powell (49ers).
