My take is it all starts at the defensive line. You need talented and skillful dlinemen to fill gaps and make plays on the ball. LBs come next and need to keep RBs/QBs from running on the edges and also filling any unblocked gap. What, makes Alabama #1 at this every year?

And where do you think OSU (#6 in 2017) will stand in this realm in 2018?
