Ohio State punter Drue Chrisman was announced as one of the 27 punters on the 2018 preseason Ray Guy Award on Wednesday morning.

Chrisman was a semifinalist for the award last season after averaging 44.2 yards per punt with a net punting average of 41.1, which ranked ninth nationally. Chrisman had 25 punts downed inside the 20 yard line, booted 15 punts over 50 yards and averaged over 45 yards per punt each of the team's first five games.
Chrisman enters his redshirt sophomore season and his second season as Ohio State's punter.
