Former Ohio State H-Back Dontre Wilson was one of 13 players invited to participate in the Los Angeles Chargers’ rookie minicamp this weekend as a non-contract participant.

Wilson signed with Los Angeles as an undrafted free agent following last year’s NFL Draft, but was not cleared by team doctors over concerns about a foot injury suffered in 2014 against Michigan State. He was then picked up by the British Columbia Lions of the Canadian Football League in September, but only as a practice squad member.
The Chargers have previously signed players following their participation in the camp, so Wilson still has a chance to achieve his NFL dreams.
