While Ohio State's current players participated in their 10th practice of the spring on Wednesday morning, seven members of last year's Ohio State team were also at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center auditioning for NFL coaches.

Ohio State's defensive line and linebacker hopefuls for the 2018 NFL draft – Sam Hubbard, Jalyn Holmes, Tyquan Lewis, Tracy Sprinkle, Michael Hill, Jerome Baker and Chris Worley – were all back in Columbus on Wednesday to participate in a private workout with the Houston Texans, who sent senior defensive assistant/outside linebackers coach John Pagano and assistant special teams coach Tracy Smith to Ohio State to take a closer look at the Buckeyes who could help them in their defensive front seven.

Several of Ohio State's current defensive linemen, including Nick Bosa, Dre'Mont Jones, Chase Young and Haskell Garrett, among others, spent time observing the workout after finishing their own practice.

Hubbard, a potential first-round pick, is projected as the top NFL draft prospect from that group. Baker, Lewis and Holmes have all been projected to be selected in the draft's first four rounds. Worley, Sprinkle and Hill are potential late-round draft picks.
