Many of you speak of Haskins as Heir to the throne, but something that many people forget is that Urban has stated that 2018 will be a open QB competition. I’m leaving Joe Burrow out because I fully believe that he’s planning to grad transfer. With that in mind, try to imagine our offense with these two scenarios:

Haskins Led:

This is a WR dream. A QB with a rocket arm and great accuracy. Downfield Passing goes from nearly nonexistent to child’s play. RB’s squeal with glee at more carries because the box isn’t stacked. The perfect balanced system. 

Martell Led:

He’s the perfect fit in Urban’s spread offense. This kid is Johnny Manziel in an OSU uniform with no drinking problem. Watch his Bishop Gorman tape, you’ll see what I mean. Great arm, faster and more shifty that JT. 

I personally dont don’t think that the game time Haskins received this year will make him an automatic starter, so I’d love to know your thoughts.
