1. Ohio State - Ohio State enters the CFP 13-0, except this year it’s much better as Justin Fields is your Heisman Trophy Winner after a 5000/50TD (passing) season. Defense is Top 10 again, and Master Teague is the best back in America.

2. Alabama - Saban roars back to take the SEC crown with a 12-1 season, being upset against either LSU or Texas A&M during this run. Mack Jones proves to be a serviceable replacement.

3. Oregon - The Ducks, after taking an early loss to No. 1 Ohio State, runs through the PAC-12 and reaches the playoff for the second time.

4. Georgia - Yes, the SEC gets two teams in once again. Georgia largely goes uncontested to a 12-0 season, but gets beaten by Alabama in the SEC championship game.

Clemson will get upset, and their weak schedule won’t be able to save them.

Ohio State destroys Georgia, due to them having virtually no offense again. Think the tune of 56-7.

Alabama beats a motivated Oregon squad, overcoming an early 14-0 deficit.

Ohio State and Alabama meet in the National Championship, which is sure to be the most watch National Championship in CFB history. But the game won’t be close. Ohio State will blast to a 28-0 deficit. Alabama will score twice to make it 28-14, and Ohio State will finish off scoring two more, for a 42-14 beat down.

So far, on offense, it’s Austin Mack, Binjimin Victor, KJ Hill, J.K Dobbins (possibly)

Defense, it’s Chase Young (possibly), Jeff Okudah (Possibly), Damon Arnette, Shaun Wade (Possibly)

the (possibly) caveat is them having eligibility to come back but almost all of them are 1st/2nd round material.

Tate is a hard worker. But his family is absolutely nuts. I read they also want him to transfer from Miami too and he’s not contacting them now because of it. Sad state of affairs in the Martell family. I hope he makes the best decision for himself and really gets a chance to light it up next year.

THIS is the response I was hoping to see from everyone. But unfortunately people feel personally scorned.

If you really held that against him, says more about you than him. He’s a kid.

Like clockwork I came here immediately to see Buckeye fans throwing shots at a former Buckeye. I’m not sure why I expected better of us.

Notice how I put “Battle” in quotations.....exact thing that happened here.

THERW IS NO QB BATTLE. Fields was gonna start the moment he walked on campus, just like Martell will most likely start. QB competitions are a fallacy.

Comment 18 Apr 2019

I don’t think people on here are accepting why this actually happened.

There was no QB competition. Never existed. Day knew from the moment Fields arrived that was his guy. The QB competition talk was to keep Martell and Baldwin as good backup options. Martell saw right through it and transferred immediately (and is now currently leading Miami’s QB “battle”), but Baldwin took the bait.

Look at the timing. This is literally 5 days after the spring game. FIVE. You don’t go from “I love Ohio State, I don’t shy from competition” to entering the transfer portal in 5 days.

Day isn’t Meyer. Meyer had a soft spot for his players to challenge and earn the starting jobs. It’s why personnel has sometimes been spotty in certain positions (think Tuf Boreland). Sucks to say, but with Day in charge, Baldwin didn’t stand a chance.

Comment 18 Apr 2019

EXACTLY. You notice QB competitions don’t happen often at blue blood programs? Urban Meyer’s philosophies are gone. Fields was gonna start the moment he arrived. It would have taken a disastrous spring/summer/fall for him not to start.

Comment 18 Apr 2019

This timing is wildly fishy. AFTER the spring game?

I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but it seems like Baldwin was given some news of pecking order and made a decision based on that. I refuse to believe that if he 100% had a fair shot he would just forget the months of winter and spring training and decide to leave.
