From Harbaugh’s muted presser and post-game demeanor to fan behavior and player reaction (other than O’Korn), this victory has a different feel.
I have lived not far from the great whore for a couple of decades, and I have never seen so many “oh well, we lost again” type of attitudes as in the past handful of days. I know several ppl, even alumni, who didn’t even bother to watch the game, and I found it strange how many fans were cheering and laughing behind the FOX set after the game as if they’d won.
As recent as September it was Harbaugh this and Harbaugh that. Not so much now. Makes me wonder if they’re simply becoming resigned to being “behind” OSU.
Losing to us 16 times in the 20 years since they split the natty w/Nebraska could be taking its toll. 20 years is a long time to suffer - much worse than 2-10-1, which started and stoppes w/Coop rather than 4-16 spanning 4 UM coaches.
Whatever it is, its glorious.
