We'd all be talking about how Wisconsin was going to get left out of the title game in favor of Alabama and Miami. And if only one of Alabama, Miami, and Wisconsin were left at the end of the season, who plays them...Oklahoma or Clemson?

It could be even worse. If this were 1997 and not 2017, and Alabama and Wisconsin finish undefeated, Wisconsin is playing USC in the Rose Bowl and Alabama is playing Oklahoma or Clemson in the Sugar Bowl.

The 4 team playoff has its flaws, but it's better than the past.
