I didn't see this anywhere else in the Forum, so here goes. Did anyone read ESPN's Clemson write-up this morning?http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/page/insidetheplay101417/fa... Clemson's formula for losing looks almost identical to every game we've lost (except Clemson last year): Abandoned the run when it was working? Check. Egregious special teams mistakes? Check. Defense couldn't get off the field in the 4Q? Check. Too many penalties? Check. Coaches saying, "We got out-coached."? Check. As I was watching it last night (smiling, admittedly), I couldn't help but think that if I closed my eyes, the announcers could've been talking about OSU/MSU or OSU/PSU. I realize that good teams lose all the time to underdogs, but that game really underscored how even the best staffs can let a game plan get away when an inferior team sticks around. I just didn't expect to see Clemson do that against Syracuse. Here's hoping the Buckeyes don't fall into the same traps against Nebraska.
ESPN Write-Up of Clemson is Jarringly Familiar
