I may have missed it but I had not noticed any real discussion around how Indiana's entire offensive staff has changed in the off season.

We are all well aware that the master mind behind it, Coach Wilson is now here. But the entirety of the rest of their offensive staff also either left or was let go by Allen.

CO-OC/QB/WR coach Kevin Johns was let go in early January. He is now QB/OC coach at Western Mich

CO-OC/OL coach Greg Frey (not our Mr Frey btw), left in February to become to OL coach at UM

RB coach Deland McCullough - Left in late February to become to RB coach at USC

Indiana promoted Shawn Watson to QB to replace Johns but he left in February to become to QB/OC at Pitt

Finally TE/FB coach James Patton was let go in early January and is now a QC coach at Pitt

That is 100% of the offensive brain trust of IU gone.

They were replaced with the following

New OC/TE coach is Mike DeBord who came from Tenn but had been a 2 time OC at UM under Lloyd Carr. Ran a pro set at UM but ran a up-tempo spread at Tenn

New QB coach is Nick Sheridan who is a former UM QB under DeBord and had been a GA at Tenn and prior to that was a QB coach at USF and WKU

The new RB coach is Mike Hart former UM RB who played for DeBord at UM and had spent 1 year at Syracuse and 4 years at a couple directional Mich MAC teams

The new WR coach is Grant Heard who spent the last 4 years at Ole Miss and had previously coached with new HC Allen

The new OL coach is Darren Hiller who comes from USF and UC the past 4 years.

This may make game planning for Indiana's offense tough as play-calling, scheme etc may all be changed. But since guys like Lagow must also learn this new system their could be several hiccups along the way.
