I feel it may not be talked about enough that Michigan hired Don Brown to coach their defense. This guy scares me, not in a Jim Harbaugh might put my head on a stake type of way, but in a "holy s**t he knows defense" type of way.
I happen to watch Boston College football because my childhood friend (sadly) chose to commit there. Last year, their offense was horrendous, constantly giving away good field position and leaving the D on the field for 65% of the game.
Despite all this, Coach Brown's defense put up two complete shutouts, held two teams to a field goal each, and only let up 30 points once which was to Clemson (last year's arguably best offense).'
-Held N. Illinois to the same amount of points our Buckeyes did
-Held Notre Dame to 19 points (our Buckeyes gave up 28)
-Held Florida State to 14 points on the road.
All this without an offense, I think this guy is a guru and although I think we beat Michigan this year again, his presence along with what looks to be a solid UM offense will give us troubles. Thoughts?
