Athletic Director Jeff Compher has winning on a Houston Cougar level in mind after giving the axe to Head Coach and alumnus Ruffin McNeill. Compher, originally from Maryland has spent several years in the North Carolina collegian circuit and wants to take this AAC's football school in a different direction. At 1.4 to 2.0 million a year don't be surprised if Fickell  gets a call.
